A wax sprue is attached and wax is then put into flask
Ready to mix the investment to pour over wax in flask
George pouring investment into flask, a filtered breathing mask is worn as protection from the silicate dust caused by the compound
Flask is then put into the oven to vaporize the wax
Wax is vaporized leaving an impression in the hardened investment
The casting machine
George melting the gold with blow torch, while casting machine spins, forcing the molten gold into the flask (Centrifugal Force)
Investment impression is now filled with gold
Investment mold is broken to reveal the cast piece in the rough
